Crane Operator -
Breckenridge Crane is currently seeking a patient experienced crane operator to join our team in Breckenrige. This job is based out of Breckenridge, but travel may be necessary to surrounding states. Our home base operation has mostly traditional hours, but there is seasonal overtime. Operating a crane in the high alpine environment of Breckenridge is challenging, with the steep setups, and winter driving. This is a permanent position for a task oriented, honest person. We are flexible about the skill level for this job opening. The minimum skill required would be a history of operating other heavy equipment (trainee), and we are very interested in hiring a highly skilled operator, capable of operating our 240 ton crane. We are most concerned about your fit with our crew, the particular skills you bring to the table, and your willingness to live in our area. Our operators are generally trained to operate more than one of our machines. As a beginner you would train on our smallest boom truck, and progress up in the fleet as your experience grows. A more skilled operator would step into our fleet as his or her experience dictates. The more experience, the better! Mechanical skill is a preferred skill also.
Regardless of your skill level you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test, and have a clean driving record (see requirements HERE ). You need to be even tempered, in good physical condition, and able to work outside in all conditions. CDLA is preferred, and will be required shortly after hiring on. NCCCO is required or obtainable in short order. BCS has been serving this area since 1979 and has had several long term employees. We pay a competitve wage. We provide vaction pay, all major holidays, health insurance package, retirement plan and bonus for good job performance. We are looking for a long term career oriented person that is a team player. This is not short term employment. Pay is dependent on experience, and ranges from $18-$30/hr with a benefit package.
